Abstract

Supercritical water as a solvent can be used in processing organic materials. In recent years oxidation and gasification cycles with supercritical water have been designed or improved. The autothermal reforming combines advantages of these approaches. In comparison with current technologies, these approaches offers several advantages such as low emissions and in situ separation of the product components.
